Sebastian leads the technology infrastructure at QFT, overseeing the full platform stack from data extraction and standardisation pipelines through to software architecture and product delivery. With over 15 years of experience as a developer, CTO, and technology consultant, he has architected and delivered more than 200 software projects across data, infrastructure, and product design. At QFT he is responsible for translating the firm's analytical research into scalable, institutional-grade technology.
Earlier in his career, Sebastian worked with Deloitte and Bosch, where he led applied AI and large language model initiatives across complex software ecosystems. He has also contributed to high-impact technology projects in both public and private sector contexts and is recognised as an award-winning contributor to platform innovation at an international level.
Sebastian holds an MSc in Computer Science from LMU Munich and an MSc in Information Systems from TU Munich, as well as an Honours Degree in Technology Management from CDTM. He conducted his doctoral research at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition and was a visiting researcher at Stanford University.
